Who: A pair of dorky kids.
Where: An alternate timeline and a world far, far away.
When: ???
What: What should be a simple recon mission goes horribly, horribly wrong.
Warnings: Transformations/body 'horror' (is there a better word for it in this context??), potential nudity, a load of derp.
Taking on two young recruits at once had seemed like rather a gamble for the Organization. After all, the last time that something like that had happened, it had been the one-time Lea and Isa... Still. The pair had adapted well, with some of the older members taking them under their wings readily: Axel, Lexaeus, Marluxia, had all had something to say to the young lightning-wielder and healer. They'd learned the tricks of the trade.
Today, then, was their first mission to a completely unfamiliar world without any of the senior members to assist. Hardly anything known bar rumour... but they'd be alright, wouldn't they?
The boy who still thought of himself as 'Kanji' looked at his companion. Dammit, he couldn't be worried, by definition - so what was preying on his mind? He shook it off. "Alright. Let's do this."
