The Missing Dragon Roleswap! (with Greenji and Green Apprentice Maria)

Where was Isadore? Maria had to find him fast, because otherwise he might think Puppy-Eater really was Beato and that would be no good. But she'd been running so heedlessly in her first flush of escape that she was now quite lost--lost in the crowd and lost in the city. She hadn't lost track of Sakutaro yet, thank goodness, but otherwise she was very much lost. And tired. And scared.

Maybe that's why she bumped into the very tall boy.

"Oh!" she says. "Sorry!"

The youth in a practical (muted forest green) cloak and hood seems a little startled, but he quickly recovers. Things are a little overwhelming, right now, even he'll admit... he can't blame her for being in a mess.
Honestly, he'd rather be on the other side of the city, over in the Garden Quarter, but he's not going to get anywhere worthwhile if he just hangs around there. And whatever problems the city might have, he won't deny it's lively.

"Hey, don't worry 'bout it," he says, smiling, in a rough, rural Dolorosan accent. "It happens."

She nods. "I know you! You're learning green magic, aren't you. I'm trying to find my friend Isadore. He was staying with me while my tutor was gone fighting the dragon, but the dragon is pretending to be Beato now and it came when he was out and I'm not sure where he is now. Or where I am now. Except still in the Magic Quarter, I think."

He grins widely at the recognition, and what the recognition is for. Kid's smart. "Green magic? Yeah, that's me," he says with a nod. The rest of her news, though? Well, that's something he wasn't expecting to hear. Unfortunate for her, that's for sure. "Sure, this is still Magician's Quarter. Tell ya what - you want me to help ya look for him?"

Maria nods. "Please! He's very pretty and he has red hair and dark eyes. Sakutaro can help us. He knows Isadore too."

At least that description isn't ringing any bells for Kasimir here. The lion gets a smile right along with her - "Sounds good to me," he says, sincerely. "I'm sure he's gonna be a great help. C'mon."

With that, he gestures, starting to lead the way. "No fun being stuck on your own, huh."

She shakes her head. "Not at all! And I can't go back to our room at the inn, either, because of the dragon. It's not fair."

After a few moments, "What about you? Are you alone?"`

"Nah," he says with a smile. "I've got family around here. Hadn't seen most of 'em in a long time, so it's been good meeting 'em again."

And there's an understatement for today...
